Propolis & Lavandin Body Butter was formulated to support the skin barrier. Propolis is the “glue” that protects the bees’ hive. In skincare, propolis supports skin barrier function by creating a protective barrier, so the body can do the work that it needs to. The scent of Lavandin (a plant in the same family as Lavander), is immensely calming and soothing to the nervous system. It promotes the difficult work of regenerating skin cells by assisting in rebuilding collagen and elastin. For this reason, it is very useful in diminishing the look of scarred or darkened skin. Mango Butter is moisturizing, a natural emollient (helps to smooth and soften), and is rich is fatty acids. Though solid at room temperature, it liquifies when applied to skin. With the assistance of Apricot Kernel Oil and Rose Hip Oil, this butter is extremely beneficial for skin that leans toward the dry side and for expecting mamas ;)
